Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • 4-inch duct clamp

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, near electrical outlet, and on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
  3. Connect Venting System: Install 4-inch diameter metal ducting, avoid plastic or foil ducts. Keep vent run as short and straight as possible.
  4. Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect gas line using approved flexible connector. Check for leaks with soap solution.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded 240V outlet for electric models, 120V for gas models. Do not use extension cords.
  6. Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and ventilation.

Troubleshooting
