Tools Needed:

  • Gas leak detection solution
  • Adjustable wrench
  • Pipe thread sealant
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a well-ventilated area with proper gas and electrical connections on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
  3. Gas Connection: Connect gas supply line using approved gas connectors. Apply pipe thread sealant to all connections.
  4. Ventilation Setup: Install rigid metal venting with minimal bends. Ensure proper exhaust to outdoors.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  6. Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Gas Leak Test: Apply leak detection solution to all gas connections. Check for bubbles indicating leaks.
  8. Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and gas combustion.
