Self Clean Function Guide

What You Need:

  • Samsung approved washer cleaner
  • Clean cloth
  • Soft brush
  • White vinegar (optional)

Step-by-Step Self Cleaning Process

  1. Prepare the Washer: Ensure the washer is empty of all clothing and items. Wipe the drum interior with a clean, damp cloth.
  2. Add Cleaner: Pour Samsung approved washer cleaner directly into the drum. Do not use bleach or other harsh chemicals.
  3. Select Self Clean Cycle: Press the Self Clean button on the control panel. The cycle will automatically start.
  4. Let Cycle Complete: The Self Clean cycle typically runs for 1-2 hours. Do not interrupt the cycle once started.
  5. Wipe Down Exterior: While cycle runs, clean the exterior surfaces, door seal, and detergent dispensers with a soft cloth.
  6. Final Rinse: After cycle completes, run an additional rinse cycle to ensure all cleaner residue is removed.
  7. Dry and Ventilate: Leave the door open for several hours to allow complete drying and prevent mold growth.
Warning: Always use Samsung approved cleaning products. Never use abrasive cleaners or tools that may damage the drum surface.
