Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pliers
- Tape measure
- Pipe thread seal tape
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near necessary plumbing and electrical connections on a solid, level floor with proper ventilation.
- Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from both washer and dryer units.
- Connect Water Supply: Connect hot and cold water supply lines to the washer's water inlet valves. Use only new hoses with thread seal tape.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route the drain hose into a standpipe or laundry tub with a high loop to prevent backflow and siphoning.
- Electrical Connection: Connect washer to a properly grounded 120V outlet. Dryer requires 240V outlet for electric models or gas line connection for gas models.
- Ventilation Setup: Install proper exhaust venting for dryer with minimal bends and maximum length of 25 feet.
- Level the Units: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure both washer and dryer are level from front to back and side to side.
- Test Run: Run both units through complete cycles to check for leaks, proper operation, and adequate ventilation.
